Our Foundation helps families in many different ways. If there is a family in immediate need of something while a child is going through pediatric cancer treatment we can help with financial support, housing, shopping, or medical needs. Each September we do pediatric cancer bags for the oncology floor at Levine’s.
In 2023, we were able to help 16 families to the extent of over $26,000 thanks to the funds you have donated. This assistance includes funeral service expenses, medicines not covered by insurance, and temporary housing during treatments for four of the stated families. A variety of house utility payments were covered to allow patients’ parents to take time off work to focus on anything their kids need during the course of treatment.
